Introduction
Asian Institute of Eco-civilization, Research, and Development
(AIERD) was established with the objective of promoting open-minded, unbiased, and evidence-based discourse on changing global dynamics, the rise of Asia, especially in the backdrop of China, global governance and security, diplomacy, eco-civilization, etc.
AIERD is a transparent and trusted forum for holding greater dialogues among civilizations, focusing on peace, sustainability, and prosperity. The Institute performs on the basis of three tiers, i.e., i) creation of good quality knowledge, ii) constructive engagement of stakeholders, and iii) pro-active advocacy for a better and refined policy framework.
It also strives to provide research-based policy support and business advice to multiple stakeholders at national, regional, and global levels to contribute to peace and prosperity in the world.

President
Major General ® Abid Latif Khan
Maj Gen Abid Latif Khan, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) served in Pakistan Army for 37 years and retired in February 2023. During his distinguished career he remained on various command, staff and instructional appointments. He has the unique honour of serving twice in the United Nations Peace Keeping Operations in Georgia and Ivory Coast. He holds degrees of Bachelor of Science (Honours) from University of Balochistan, Masters of Science from National Defence University and another Masters of Science from Gomal University. Has diploma in Human Resource Management from National University of Science and Technology. Has undergone training programmes from Lahore University of Management Sciences in Finances for Non Financial Managers, Leading & Managing Change and Directorship Training for Boards Effectiveness. He has remained Managing Director of Airport Security Force Foundation and also spearheaded its Board of Directors for two years. He is Chairman Board of Directors of Ensmile (Pvt) Limited, Independent Director on board of Lahore Stock Exchange Ventures and Burshane LPG. He is Chartered Member of Institute of Logistics and Transport, United Kingdom. He is an elected President of AIERD.
